Follow a Cleansing Program
Always cleanse your face completely before going to bed. Keeping your makeup on while you sleep can lead to clogged pores. This reduces cell renewal and can even cause acne. However, avoid using soap when cleansing your face. Women over 50 are more prone to dry skin, and soap can make it worse. Choose your facial cleansers wisely.
Put on Sunscreen
Wearing sunscreen is a must, even if you’re not going out in the sun. Choose a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher. It should also contain not only UVA but also UVB. In addition to wrinkles, sun exposure can cause brown spots and discoloration of the skin. Apply sunscreen every 2-3 hours if you are going outdoors.
