Aches and Pains Massage Oil

Massage and aromatherapy products aren’t for everyone, but they can be really great products to have on hand for a lot of different reasons.
I rely on massage oils for tight muscles after working oil and I love aromatherapy combinations for relief from my migraines!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups organic olive oil
  • 1 cup organic arnica flowers (do not ingest!)
  • 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 10 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 1 tsp. vitamin E oil
  • 1 pint glass mason jar
  • 1 amber colored glass jar with a lid

Instructions:

In a small mixing bowl, combine your vitamin E, essential oils and olive oil.
Mix these together well.
Now take your arnica flowers and add them to your mason jar.

Carefully pour your vitamin E, essential oil and olive oil mixture over the flowers.
Cap your jar and set it on the windowsill to allow the flowers to infuse the oil mixture.
Turn the jar every day to ensure it is exposed evenly to the sun. Do this for 6 weeks.

After 6 weeks of infusing, strain your oil in to your amber colored glass jar to remove the flowers.
Put the lid on your jar and store out of sunlight and away from heat.

To use, simply pour a small amount of the oil on to your fingers and use as you would any massage oil, rubbing the oil deeply in to sore areas of the body.
Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after application to avoid getting the oil in your eyes/nose/mouth.
